This package actually have nothing with the email send out functionality to do, that would be handled with another workflow. But since the password is entered in a field it should be included in the default "Send email" workflow. But make sure to arrange your workflows so that MemberForms workflow is executed AFTER the email send out, since MemberForms clears the password field. I can create a "proof of concept" on Monday and send to you.
Regarding the MemberGroup: that was unfortunate, I could swear that this worked a few months ago when I implemented this for a client, so it might stopped working with a later version of forms/umbraco. I'll look in to it, fix it and update the package next week.

Comparing password fields

Great package this - this should be built into Umbraco Forms! Works with 7.5.3 too!
I have a quick question - can you email out the members password?
