I was trying to use Nested Content similar to how I use Archetype, so I created a Document Type with 3 properties and then I created a Nested Content data type and set the Document Type to the one I created and put a new property on one of my other Document Types and chose the new Nested Content one as my the editor. All this works fine.
I set the min and max items to 3 because the user has to put in exactly 3 items (I was curious why this isn't an option in the first place by the way: Exactly or Min and Max)
When I did this and went to the content tree, I could add one item I created, but I could not add anymore. I thought it might be the min 3 and max 3, so I tried a min of 0 and max of 3, but still was only able to add one.
When I initially put something like a min of 3 and a max of 3, it rendered it as one item. After setting the min to 0, it still rendered as 1 item, so I am not sure if something was cached because when I tried again, it worked. And I forgot, if anyone is curious, NestedContent works great without the grid.
Can I use Nested Content Without the Grid?
