I have an Umbraco 7.2.6 installation with nuPickers 1.4.1. I'm just about to upgrade nuPickers to version 1.5.1, and I would like to know:
What's the recommended way? Should I uninstall the old version before installing the new one - or not? And yes, there's nuPickers datatypes currently in use on my site.
nuPickers is a single dll, so that's all that needs to be upgraded (and it's usually a good idea to flush any caches).
There's no need to uninstall (although if you installed via the Umbraco package and you'd like to ensure that Developer/Packages/Installed tree reports that the version is installed then you can uninstall / reinstall the latest Umbraco package).
(BTW, if you're using the Relations Only feature, I'd wait for v.1.5.2 which should be released in the next few days - just that there's a bug we need to resolve)
