I am having issues with the package as well - I downloaded the zip file - good so far, I then installed local - it claimed it installed, I then tried to access the DataType in property editor - there is no DataType for the Open Maps , I do not see it listed any where .
I am using Version 8.6.3 of Umbraco - would really like this thing to work.
I noticed it appears as if the googlemaps has been updated - even though the version is the same. I uninstalled the localized load that I had performed and then reinstalled ..
I then uninstalled and went to package manager and tried the installation from there again - this time I have the property editor n my listings .
As I am looking on the gargle site - I am seeing that the API requires a billing account .. not sure how much that will cost us .. Anyone have experience with that ? I am thinking gargle gets something out of this just by listing.
Here is a very simple example, this is what I used to get me started, my needs were a little more complicated, but it is a good example of what you are trying to achieve.
OSM Not very well packaged
Hi Damiaan...
Not very well packaged ! You mean not packaged at all ? :)) The package can not be installed from Umbraco, and the nucket package seems to be empty.

What exactly do you need to do? It is fairly easy to get google maps working without installing any packages.

I am a bit green on this and Umbraco Integration. I want a simple map with a pin on it. would like to place it on my contact page.
1: Do I just grab the URL from Google Maps (maps.gargle.com?mylocation)
How do I implement the map with the pointer ? I do not want a bunch of spurious information like here's your competitors ..
