I installed PerplexEmail in Umbraco 7.6.3 with local MySQL server 5.6.34 without error messages but when I tried to use it a lot of error messages are returned by backend. Everything appears normally in backed but when I tried to send test email i am receiving the error and message:
**
An error occured while sending the testmail. Please try again: You
have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to
your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '[id]) + 1

thanks for trying to use our package but unfortunately we didn't prepare our PerplexMail-package to be compatible with MySQL. If you want you can grab the sourcecode from GitHub (https://github.com/PerplexInternetmarketing/PerplexMail-for-Umbraco) and change the SQL statements, or even better make a Pull Request. I don't think there's too much SQL going on in there so the fixes could be pretty straight forward for you.

Hope this helps a tiny bit,
