When I open image in new window, edit the same and then try to save. It shows save window on which after I press OK button, it shows 'working please wait...' msg at botton of the window. But then no further action it is taking,
What is the problem. I saw other posts in which I found credetial related solution but I dont know much about it. Can anyone give solution step-by-step?
I checked crossdomain.xml file and corrected line <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*.pixlr.com" headers="*" secure="true"/> by adding '*'.
It works fine now. But one more question that if I dont want to create new image, I just want it to get replaced. Then what can be done? If I keep 'save as NEw?' checkbox unchecked then it is not working. It keep image as it is.
If you just want to edit the image, then it should be easy. Just click Save when you are finished with editing the image in Pixlr and the original image should be replaced with the new modified one.
image saving issue in v 4.7.1.1

Hi hetaruhet
I think I have also experienced this earlier. Two things you should check is
1: Make sure the cross domain policies XML file looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain="*.pixlr.com" />
<site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="master-only"/>
<allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*.pixlr.com" headers="*" secure="true"/>
</cross-domain-policy>
2: Make sure that the version of flash installed on your machine is the latest release
Regarding tip no 1. you might need to recycle the app pool to see it take effect.
Hope this helps.

Hello...
Yes this part is a bit tricky.
You need to check the checkbox and then hit the link, which opens the image in pixlr. Do your image manipulation and then hit save from within pixlr.
Now you should see the image being saved as a new instance with the applied changes to the image.
Hope this makes sense.

Actually I dont want new instance of the image. I want that old image get replaced with manipulated image. Is this possible?
Hi hetaruhet,
If you just want to edit the image, then it should be easy. Just click Save when you are finished with editing the image in Pixlr and the original image should be replaced with the new modified one.
Cheers
