    I have gone through installation process and when i create translation it would popup error message below

    "TranslationFolder document type GenericPage_TranslationFolder does not exist, or it does not have the right alias or is not an allowed child nodetype"

    Many help would be mush appreciated

    Hi Prabir. This error message should be accurate. I would suggest re-checking page 5 of the documentation and making sure that everything mentioned there has been implemented.

    Hi Dimi Many thanks for your response , i have fixed the previous error and it is up running with translation, but still it is not translating content in different language , all the content in different translated pages are same as original in English My goal is to translate English content into Chinese and to have both version running in the site and user can switch it over, is that possible in this Umbraco v6.1 entertainment please .

    Polyglot will help you store the different translations and then display them to the user based on the language they select, as described in the instructions. It will not automatically translate content by itself. When you first create the translation node, the package does indeed copy the content from the existing page with the original language (e.g. English). You (or a translator) have to then enter the content in the second language (Chinese in this case for example) and store it in the translation node.
