I'm trying to use the feature "Edit image content".
How and for which purposes should be used "Image content" and "Image settings"?
I'm trying to define an overlay to my image using a div (or :before) with an color picker (with opacity) and I don't know if using "Image content" or "Image settings" is the right way.
Throughout positional content we have used the content to contain content and the setting to contain any global setting we would like to apply to the content.
We found when testing that we were replicating styles settings, for example, invert on several item content document types and it just meant sense to separate the settings out.
It also allows you to override a setting at a particular breakpoint whilst retaining the original content.
Really they are just logical containers, it doesn't really matter where you place the data as you are in control of where it is used in the front end.
Hopefully this answers your question?
