We are also getting this error. Running a Report to show what will change on Import simply shows a couple of updates of IContent. Note we're on Umbraco 7.15.3, uSync Backoffice 4.0.14, Core 6.0.14, Content 4.1.8.
Has anyone been able to determine a cause? We just started using this package in an attempt to easily migrate changes between environments but it's not been as full proof as I was hoping.

When I use the control, it throws an exception while importing in usync related to malformed json.
