    Intro by Developer

    Hi,

Would be interested to know how useful folks are finding this package. I've been using various iterations of this package with clients for the past year and they seem to like it.

Please also provide any suggestions for enhancement and obviously any bugs!  This is my first package (and contribution) for the community - Enjoy!

    Regards,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Great package. Had this idea myself to build during Christmas holiday which is off the list now :). This will be useful for a lot of people #h5yr

    Cheers,

    Richard

As we can't move our clients to v7 yet, I cannot describe how great this package will be for some of clients with 10k+ nodes (products in web shops).

Thanks Zoki - let me know how perf is on 10,000 nodes (and how many built in properties vs custom properties you're accessing since that will make a difference).

I've only tested on 5,000 nodes using this code - I have a separate package that does things a little different architecture wise (uses db triggers on node update) that accesses 15,000 nodes.

    Regards,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Great package indeed! Many thanks to you!

As far as I am a part of the non native english speaking Umbraco developers (very easy to ignore :-) ), and most of our customers are not english speakers too (very hard to ignore), the first suggestion will be of course package localization :-) I think the simpliest way is a usage of Umbraco dictionary, e.g. as FALMHousekeeping author did.

The localization feature may of course concern to content editor parts only, not the whole package including setup screens and prevalue editors etc...

    Many thanks in advance ;-)

Thanks Alexander - will add localization to the list of todo's :-)

    Hi Matt,

I have used your package on one solution where I found that the only thing missing was a delete button, or a checkbox for deleting multiple nodes simultanious. This would be awesome :)

    Regards,
    Niels
