The Spectrum Color Picker works great in Umbraco 7.5.x. Thank you for providing such a valuable tool. It's a great start for what I need.
Expanding on Sebastian's suggestion, perhaps it would be possible to set the choice of using Hex, RGB, HSL, etc. in the "Configuration" area of the Editor Settings (7.x only). There are certain properties I'm using that need Hex values, and some that need RGBA values, so it would be great to be able to choose a format when cloning the Spectrum Color Picker editor for individual properties, without having to directly mess with the javascript file.
I'm not sure if you're actively maintaining this extension anymore... hopefully there's a solution for what I'm trying to achieve.
RGBA
Would it be possible to add an alpha slider ranging from 0.0 to 1.0 ?
If 0.0 then RGB otherwise RGBA ?
Yep, sure would. You just need to update the controller file in
according to the Spectrum options (http://bgrins.github.io/spectrum/#options-showAlpha)
I actually want to add a few prevalue options to set this and other things up at some stage.
