I found your plugin extremely useful, but I realized that it took me a long time before understanding that I had to set up a label in order for data to be displayed in the back-end (they would come up as empty rows, retaining all their data but not displaying anything on each row except from the action links). Maybe a default label with the value of the first column would be good?
Additionally, I would love to see data displayed in a really tabular format in the back-end, that is like Umbraco's listview (with the option of configuring which columns will be displayed). As it is now, you can only display a label consisting of the values of one or more columns (plus static text) but not a grid.
Those are only suggestions based on my own usage pattern which I'd be happy to see implemented. Even with its current functionality, however, your plugin has saved the day, and thank you for releasing it!
I've just published version 2.3 which includes default labels (ie leave the setting empty and it will use the first column value) and optional list view, which displays the dataset as a paged table.
Also gave the UI a bit of a refresh to better match the Umbraco listview defaults.
Not only is it useful, it's super! Thank you very much for the ultra-quick response and for the improvements. Your plugin is going into my must-have list.
Label field and data display in back-end
Nathan,

Hey Sotiris

Also gave the UI a bit of a refresh to better match the Umbraco listview defaults.
Hope that's useful!
