I know the question of pushing the Tag Manager source-code up to a GitHub repo has come up a few times... and I noticed that you have started one here:
Would you like any help in getting the rest of the source-code up there?
I'm looking to use the Tag Manager on several sites, but due to the nature of how my company works, we would need the package to be in source-control, so that we can contribute back.
(Copy/pasting bug fixes in forum posts isn't so productive for us - no offence)
If the GitHub side of things has a learning curve for you, then I'm totally happy to help you out.
Thanks for getting in touch and no prob's with your comments - totally agree with what you are saying.
Of late I have been using bitbucket for my day job and so have started putting my code up there. Whilst I have create the github account would it cause you any issues if I changed to bitbucket ?
The only reason I say GitHub is that it is the more popular of the two.
From my experience, when I had my packages hosted on Bitbucket, I had next-to-no contributions, when I swapped over to GitHub the barrier was lower and had more community contributions/involvement.
But Bitbucket is cool... it's all a step in the right direction! :-)
GitHub repo?

Bitbucket is fine, I use it too.

Hi Lee
Have stuck with bitbucket as I prefer consistency - all code / projects in one place.
So can you drop me a note - [email protected] - got a couple of questions, but also keen to get things moving for you.
Cheers Nigel
