I've updated Translation Manager to the latest version for Umbraco 7 (2.4.4).
When imported translations for Nested Content, not all content is being mapped correctly:
When reviewing the translations, they look correct, but when publishing the translation for CTA.Content [7] Title is being added in to CTA.Content 1 Content
A quick couple of questions about the config - that might help me to get to the bottom of this one.
Is the nested content inside anything else (like a grid or vorto?)
Which provider was used for the translation? (i.e XLIFF)
Was CTA Content[1] Content still put in the right place?
Roughly I am assuming the nested content looks something like this :
Title - Text string
Content - RTE
... other properties?
I might be good if you can share the translation file with me (assuming it's XLIFF) - feel free to email me [email protected] if that's easier / you don't want to share in public.
Resolved the issue with the help of Kevin, thanks!
For anyone else who runs in to the issue - the properties on the nested content type had been re-ordered since the original export had been done, and the translations being imported back in. I had to re-order the properties to their original order, and the content matched up correctly on import.
Also the latest update(s) v2.4.5 and v8.2.5 remedy this issue for new translations (so if the order is changed after the translation is sent, they will still re-import the content into the right place).
For existing translations you will as you have said have to re-order the properties to get the translation back in.
