I think most people split it into areas so they can import them a bit at a time.
it isn't possible with the default providers to do partial translations, (some of the service provider connectors can do this, but it's Translation company-specific).
so its best to split if its a lot or you could be waiting for everything before continuing.
Translation work flow
This is more general question, what do people do when starting the initial translation of a website (or subsite)?
1) Generate one large translation job for the entire site, or 2) Many smaller jobs (e.g. one per page)
If 1) is it possible to receive partial translations and bring them back into the site, or does one have to wait for the entire site to be translated?
