After some testing on the component I'm wondering on which browser it was tested since there is major display issues on IE8 and Firefox 5 for the backend part.
Indeed when creating an event the creation form display in layer window, with double scrollbar which is really annoying.
When you add an attendee it completely break the layout.
It would be also great to integrate a js calendar for the date and time parts input.

Datetime has a picker when tested in Safari and Chrome...
We'll be doing further testing in IE and FF to better enhance the UI experience.
Event add/edit form will be tweaked to make it larger in version 1.1
