I haven't explored this add-on. However any CKEditor add-on should work with uCKEditor. You just need to install it as described in the add-on's webpage.
The latest version of uCKEditor doesn't use embedded resources anymore, what means that CKEditor's files are available in ~/App_plugins/uCKEditor/CKEditor/ folder for any customization you want to do or to install add-ons.
Okay, I was just curious how if it was possible to use some of the many add-ons :)
If you find some time, you could perhaps try with this free Leaflet Maps add-on? and add some general info if developers want to use add-on with uCKEditor? :)
If I find some time, I will try this add-on that looks quite interesting.
I haven't had time yet to write some doc about how to install CKEditor add-ons, but it is definitely something I want to do.
I can confirm the imagemaps plugin you linked works fine with uCKeditor.
It is a commercial plugin, so we had to pay for it, but as soon as you do the creator of the plugin will contact you with the exact instructions on how to install it.
We even use it in a jquery cycle2 image banner, you can see it on our frontpage:
www.dphtrading.com
The installation is straightforward, even though it's a plugin for a plugin :)
EDIT: We have recently noticed some performance problems with this plugin if there are multiple images with imagemaps in the same editor. I will create a topic about it as soon as I know the details.
Image Maps Add-on
Hi..
Have you explored if it is possible to integrate to Image Maps add-on? http://ckeditor.com/addon/imagemaps
However it seems to be a commercial plugin http://alfonsoml.blogspot.dk/p/imagemaps.html like the Google Maps plugin http://alfonsoml.blogspot.dk/p/googlemaps.html

Hi George,
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Alain
I just saw this small add-on for code snippet: http://ckeditor.com/addon/codesnippet
demo: http://sdk.ckeditor.com/samples/codesnippet.html
With the default config of TinyMCE3 in Umbraco it is a bit difficult to handle codesnippet and there have been some different approaches to handle insert code snippets like https://our.umbraco.org/projects/developer-tools/mysnippets-for-tinymce
but this add-on seems to be easy to use from an editor's point of view :)

Hi Bjarne,
It is useful to know which plugins people are using with uCKEditor.
Thanks for sharing.
