Startnode / XSLT filter ignored during drag & drop
In the multi-node treepicker, I see that you can drag & drop just any node into the area where selected nodes appear. This will probably be a tricky one to solve, but.. You shouldn't be able to drag nodes in there that have a different root node from the one defined in the datatatype, and also no nodes that would've been filtered to be disabled using the XSLT filter on the datatype.
