On version 3.0.2 of uComponents, I had my datatype using the multinode picker in uComponents. It was set to media, however I had accidently enabled xpath filtering. But the field where I would enter the path was blank. Therefore I couldnt select any items when using the datatype, as expected. However I could drag and drop it, which means I was overriding the xpath filter.
The drag-n-drop overriding the XPath filters on MNTP is a known issue. We have no timescales on when it would be fixed, or who will fix it - as Shannon's, (the developer of MNTP), time is heavily consumed by v5 development.
