One suggestion for MNTP: Hide node and its descendant nodes if the node and its descendant nodes are not matched with MNTP filter.
If one node and its descendant nodes are not matched with MNTP filter. then the node and its descendant nodes are no need to show any more. You can imagine that they all are useless.
You can add one option to let user decide to hide/show nodes which are not matched with filter. For example:
Hide node if the node ant its grandchildren all are not matched with filter.
I feel this small improvement is very useful. Basically, it's not a bad idea.
