Currently having an issue with the multi node tree picker in Umbraco where after saving + publishing any property with this data type assigned against it would remove all the nodes that are saved.
This problem occurs really rarely and seemingly at random, unfortunately I can't replicate it.
Just had a look at the post you linked, my problem is slightly different - the nodes are actually deleted, as in there is no record of them anymore. I have to repopulate the property.
I've had a browse through the forum but it seems I may be the only who has come across this problem.

I haven't experienced this myself, however it seems to be happening to a few other people, see this topic:

I'm sure there's a bug in MNTP ... just a case of trying to pin-point where exactly!
