I know that MNTP is in the core now, but didn't know where to ask this.
Is it possible to have multiple start nodes in the MNTP? My site has a lot of sections. Each section has their own list of sidebar widgets. My MNTP uses xpath to find the sections parent folder and then find the child widgets folder. That limits each section of the site to their own widgets folder.
However, I have a Global widgets folder in the root of the site that I want every section to have access to in addition to their own.
There's only one start node, I guess you could have the start node at your 'Global Level' and then the use can still select from the sidebar widgets higher up too.
Or have two MNTP's? Though I guess you want to sort them.

Hey Dan,

@Rich,
I've considered those options. Neither are a good option for my case. Is there a way to extend the MNTP w/out modifying the core?
is working on a reply...
