Can anyone help me with the above request, iam looking for uComponents source code version 2.1 but i cannot find it on codeplex, github etc does anyone have a copy of the project.
We swapped over from Subversion to Mercurial (on CodePlex) at version v3.0.2 ... CodePlex wiped the previous repo
(I probably have a local backup of it somewhere ... but it was 2+ years ago).
In the meantime, the v3.x branch is still on CodePlex and GitHub.
If you take a look at our compatibility chart, you'll see that the supported versions of Umbraco is the same between v2.x and v3.x - you should be able to do a straight upgrade.
You're in luck! I found a copy of the old SVN repo on my old desktop. The filesize was pretty big because it contains all the versions, etc. Anyway, I've stripped out all the other versions and just left the v2.1 source-code in there.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for getting back so quickly, our client is using umbraco 4.7.0 and uComponents 2.1.
They are reporting an issue that when someone clicks on the tree in umbraco it caused a 1mb request everytime a node was clicked in the tree.
I can see that it is uComponents is calling /ucomponents/items/range and the returning everynode in json.
This issue http://ucomponents.codeplex.com/workitem/14313 is what iam trying to fix.
I see that you have fixed it in version 3.0.3 though i was just looking for a patched version of 2.1 to drop into the bin without upgrading to 3.0.3
Cheers
Darren
