Umbraco 4.7.1.1 running uComponents 3.0.1 - time to upgrade
We have an Umbraco 4.7.1.1 site running uComponents 3.0.1. We are upgrading Umbraco to 4.11. Two questions please. Will the version of uComponents in use play nice with Umbraco 4.11? Lastly, does uComponents add anything to the web.config file that I would have to merge with the new config file? Please and thank you.
There is a compability chart at the uComponents site http://ucomponents.org/compatibility/ - For Umbraco 4.11 version 5 of uComponents is the version you should aim for.

There is a compability chart at the uComponents site http://ucomponents.org/compatibility/ - For Umbraco 4.11 version 5 of uComponents is the version you should aim for.
You should also make sure to read this thread about upgrading uComponents http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/ucomponents/questionssuggestions/33021-Upgrading-to-Umbraco-48-breaks-support-for-uComponents since some of the core in uComponents has been made part of the core in Umbraco in v4.8+
