I have a createdf a dtatype based on a dropdown list and used prevalues to define the options. i.e my datatype looks like

In uloremsy.config I can use the number to set the initial value, but this is not very portable from one copy of umbraco to another (i.e. development to live) as this number will change. 

Is there a way to use the description rather than the number?
