    Custom event scoring

    Hey guys

    Me again :)

I have been watching you youtube videos and learning about how uMakretingSuite implements personalisation which is really great but a couple of thoughts occurred around scoring and I wanted to run them past you.

Is there a mechanism for providing scores for content based on interaction with functionality on the front end, for example search terms, or filters applied?

Is there any mechanism for sending in custom event data from a JavaScript application would it be possible, for example, to track progress through a multi-step form?

Totally understand if this isn't possible at the moment but I wondered if it was something you had given any thought to?

    Thanks again

    Lachlann

    Hi Lachlann,

no problem. Keep them coming :).

    1) Is there a mechanism for providing scores for content based on interaction with functionality on the front end, for example search terms, or filters applied?
=> Not at this moment, but this is certainly something on our wishlist / backlog. We're making a start with this in this sprint, but will probably finish this in the first sprint of 2021.

    2) Is there any mechanism for sending in custom event data from a JavaScript application would it be possible, for example, to track progress through a multi-step form?

Yes, you can sir! Check this out: https://documentation.umarketingsuite.com/analytics/clientside-events-and-additional-javascript-files/create-your-own-events/

Any more questions, let me know!

    Kindest regards,

    Jeffrey
