We have a usecase where we want to A/B test content that you can't navigate to via a url. For example: we want to A/B test Call To Actions that we manage in a 'Shared content' folder. We then choose these CTA's on pages using a Multi Node Tree Picker.
We found a boolean in the database that does make it work ‘uMarketingSuiteAbTestingAbTest.assignVisitorsOnAnyPage’ but we can't find any UI setting to enable this and it is probably not meant for this :)
So the question is: is this currently possible? And if so, how can we achieve this?
thanks for your question! For exactly that use case (I want to A/B test content that is not on that specific page, but in some other node) we've introduced this property.
Which version of uMarketingSuite are you using?
Since version 1.6 you will see this option in your A/B Test:
By default the A/B Test runs only on the specific page, but you can set it to "On any page" (for your use case).
This option is only available on a single page test.

I've marked that answer as a solution as well. That always works ;)
