We have a usecase where we have the multilingual variants of Umbraco and use them just as a translated version of the main content (so we don't see it as pages for different countries).
When you enable 'Personalization score' on content all cultures have their own persona scores. Is there a way to disable this? We want the same persona scores to work on all the culture variants and only have to configure them once per node.
great question (as always!)... This was not behavior that I suspected either. I will put a user story in the next sprint to fix this (points are assigned to all variants of the node), or make this configurable.
I saw that this feature was added in the newest version. I was wondering what happens with the existing data if we update to this version. Do we have to patch anything? Or does this happen automatically?
Personalization scores vary by culture
Hey Jeffrey,
We have a usecase where we have the multilingual variants of Umbraco and use them just as a translated version of the main content (so we don't see it as pages for different countries). When you enable 'Personalization score' on content all cultures have their own persona scores. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks in advance :)
Kind regards,

Hi Joep,

I will put this on our issue log on Github: https://github.com/uMarketingSolutions/uMarketingSuite/issues/11. Probably will be fixed in the sprint of January.
For now the workaround is to score the content per culture. A bit more work but then you can hopefully progress with the site.
Kind regards,
Jeffrey

Hi Joep,
I actually have no idea... Your quickest option is to test it out yourself and write a patch if needed.
Sorry for that unsatisfying answer, but that's the only I answer I have :S
Have a great Friday, and let me know if you've found it out,
Jeffrey
