We have a site that sits in Azure and uses Umbraco deploy on premise. The set up is very similar to Umbraco Cloud where the content authors edit in a staging environment and then transfer the content over to production.
We would love to use uMarketingSuite for this site so I was looking for some guidance on how we could configure this. Ideally we would want to edit the personas and segments in a staging environment with the page variants and then pushed to the live site.
I was originally thinking that it might be possible to use a separate database for uMarketingSuite that is shared between the two environments but the uMS tables reference the nodes by id (integer) rather than their unique id (GUID) so I don't think that will work.
Have you any recommendations on how this could be done?
Thank you for considering uMarketingSuite!
Currently the setup you mentioned is not supported (yet).
It is on our backlog to support Umbraco Deploy in the future but unfortunately I can't give you any fixed timelines for this.
