In my opinion the sky is the limit. And if we find any other limit we need to come up with a better solution. At this moment you can add in css & javascript for smaller & bigger changes, and optimize your content in the splitview / single-page setup.
We did the groundwork for a split url test where you can create two or more totally different Umbraco nodes in your tree, but let the A/B Test only render one constantly throughout the website. These Umbraco nodes can be of different document types or have an alternative template. In a demo that I did with the VendR webshop is that I implemented a multistep checkout page and a single page checkout and wanted to test these against each other. That would be great for doing bigger tests.
Also this is on the backlog and based on the feedback of our partners we can prioritize it.
AB test capabilities
On AB testing, what are the limitations of the tests - content and colours? OR can html variants be implemented for bigger styling tests?
