Can you check if the file is indeed missing from disk? If so, I am not sure why this would be the case, but you can fix it by simply copying the file edit.html from the package file PerplexUmbraco.Forms_extensions_1.55.zip to the specified directory. This should hopefully resolve the error you are seeing.
If the file does exist, and certain webservers do return the file properly while others yield a 404, there appears to be a problem with the configuration of those webservers and I am not sure if we can do anything to fix it in that case.
I forgot to mention that I had already checked that the file exists and the permissions are granted.
Right. I think it must be some configuration of the server that is restricting access to the file. For the moment I solve it by creating a custom control.

Manual Installation of Perplex
Greetings friends
I manually installed Perplex on an existing project. Everything works fine except when accessing form security where this error occurs
Request failed: The URL returned a 404 (not found):
/App_Plugins/PerplexUmbracoForms/backoffice/FormSecurity/edit.html
the version of perplex that i've installed is PerplexUmbraco.Formsextensions1.55
The version of umbraco is (7.4.1 assembly: 1.0.5891.23238) and the version of umbraco Form is "4.3.2"
Can someone guide me about where the problem may be? thaks!
Edit: Curiously, the problem is only about productive IIS or local IISExpress. But with IIS from Visual Studio does not happen.
