    Youtube picker not working with 4.11

    I had the UMP and the Youtube type working on 4.7 and 4.9 instances, but after upgrading to 4.11 it's stopped.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Pete

    I'm using a version 4.11.8 of Umbraco and the UMP and YouTube are working.

    The only problem I have is that when my client upload a new video to YouTube it won't always be listed in the UMP at the time the video is uploaded to YouTube.

    I'm trying to use UMP on v6.1.3 and it doesn't work.

    I wonder if there are plans to update it or any alternatives?

    If you're looking for a YouTube alternative try the uTube package. It has a datatype where you can enter the youtube code and it previews the movie in the Umbraco backoffice.

    Cheers Jeroen,

    I was hoping to have a datatype that allows the video to come from either youtube or mediaSection or via Upload.

    uComponents has a url picker but it looks to be a bit of extra work.
