I didn't think the Sync button removes doc types by default (there is a method call that does this but it's not callable from the UI). Is that what you're seeing when you hit the Sync All button?
Yes i hit sync all and the item for the document type was still there in the tree but when i clicked on them there were no properties associated with them anymore (the ones that were deleted)! Lucky it was just a test site using the starter kit mvc standard website so i just re-ran it.
I ended up creating dummy partial classes for the missing types so that they weren't deleted. Is suppose the other option is to do the export before you start adding new types in uSitebuilder.
How can you just Import new types
Without it removing ones it doesnt find?
The only way seems to sync all changes and then it goofs all my non uSitebuilder doctypes.

Was it a 6.0.1 site?
Wondering if it might be to do with the bug in 6.0.1 that would delete tabs and properties: http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2013/3/4/umbraco-602-released.aspx as i've not experienced this before and uSiteBuilder shouldn't be deleting anything (unless you tell it to).
Yes it was in 6.0.1
When ive finished what im doing with this site i'll try it again with 6.0.2
is working on a reply...
