Nice little overview package. However, i think it is something that should go under the Developer section only. I have amended the trees.config, and removed it from the content - but it is adamant that it should be in the content section and keeps adding itself back in.
Could we turn of the check to force it to the content section as this is information we do not need anyone to really see apart from our developers?
About the position, I have to explain you.
This package has been developed with the main purpose to inform the editors about the amount of data that they are adding to the website. I think everywhere in the world, users just "add" content (documents and media files) without removing the old useless one, so after some time the website becomes large, but in Umbraco there is no "meter" or "limit" about that.
Generally our editors are our final customers, and this tool give them the idea of "how big their website is", that was the first purpose of this utility.
Then, developing the package, we found out that we could include also other detailed information, and I agree with you that the audience some of that information are not the editors... but what to do? The easiest thing was to keep all the information into one panel and keep it in the Content area, where our primary audience can reach it easily.
Maybe we could add an "option" in order to "move" the package from "Content" to "Developer", this is an idea... What do you think?
Move to Developer Section
Hello
