The Widget Grid looks perfect for a webshop I am working on. I need to let my client select widgets from different areas of the website, without showing the entire website. If Multi-Node tree picker could select from mulitiple sources, then that would do the trick. Since it can't I was wondering if it would be possible to have multiple pickers for the Widget Grid or if anyone has already done so?
I've suggested this too in another thread - Until now, I've just used markup in the HTML to explain which type of content goes where, and often times it's really just been more flexible for the editors, because they'd just throw content in, and I'd just make sure to style it appropriate to which cell it was occupying.
Would probably kill for this feature anyway :-) The source is available, so someone with the right skills could (nudge, nudge) build a version that supported multiple pickers :-)
Could Widget Grid use multiple pickers?
