There seems to be a bug with the little dropdown at the end of the tab strip. Normally, this is used as a container for the tabs that do not fit within the available space. If there is enough space for all the tabs, this dropdown does not display. However, with the Backoffice Tweaking package, it always displays as an empty dropdown. I have confirmed removing the package fixes the problem. See screenshots:
