You can not delete the last discussion in a category. I kept getting an error, created a second discussion/poll and then deleted the orignal just fine. I also then tried to delete the new discussion and it errored again.
I have not had a chance to give this package a spin myself but I'm thinking that it would help the creator of the package a ton if you could provide the error message you're getting?
And if you could let us know what exact version of Umbraco you're running as well.
