Has anyone created a site with multiple currencies? If so, can you provide examples of how to use a currency changer and how you configure to store the multiple prices.
The merchello project says it is an out of the box feature but I can't seem to find any documentation or settings for it
I haven't been able to find one and agree that the features wording is misleading, I guess it means you can choose any currency for your store rather than multiple currency support that we would traditionally understand it to be.
Having said that I think Merchello is a brilliant product and I am looking to develop something simple for this requirement so I will share it once I have got something basic working as I imagine it is a common requirement.
It would be great to see what you do, however, I am working on a project right now that needs to be released before the end of July!
The site being replaced has the ability to display prices in other currencies but the payment gateway only deals in GBP. It basically just has an exchange rate defined for each currency and uses it to convert the prices on demand.
There is the option to select multiple currencies in the Merchello Backend, but one at a time, that means only one currency can select :), I think the Merchello want to modify this Approach to
Currency should be able to select as per the Language selected
. But as of now, it's not.
I searched a lot, I think no one achieves this
If you got any idea on this, please help me to Achieve this, I am also Stuck on this.

Check here https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/merchello/merchello/63460-Multilingual-some-questions there is something about it, i think you dont create a currency change, but bind a currency to a language and then use .ToString("C") and this formats it automatically depending on what language / localization you are using
The Merchello page https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/merchello/ says multiple currencies is a basic feature ("Here's what you get right out of the box").
I would not class it as an "out of the box" feature if you have to do that amount of work in order to use it!!?
Or is there actually a built in way to handle multiple currencies?

Ha! So am I and that's the simple solution that I am looking at implementing as well.
Did you manage to find a way to solve this for your project?

Sorry, that requirement got quietly dropped (for now, at least)!
