Fully functional product filtering snippet

Hi all,

Most ecommerce website's will have a product filter in the left hand column. Is there a snippet or a guide as such for this sort of thing?

I've been searching for awhile now and nobody has anything prebuilt.

Even if there's a guide out there which shows how to integrate the product filters within merchello that'd be handy as well.

Sadly not - we resorted to just basic category filtering. Wasn't ideal but it was all we could do with our budget.

Just frustrating as it is built in but the documentation is not there to sort it.

I was having problems with filters and after a bit of digging and playing I got it working. I put up a post here on the basics of it:
