Simple Basic Discussion forums

Sometimes you don't need all the bells and whistles and sometimes you've already gotten an authentication system sorted out for your site, and all you need is something basic and simple, that you can blop on to the site.

Simple forums is that for forums, a basic forum package that doesn't do anything clever, it just puts forums onto a site.

Simple forums uses Umbraco Nodes for posts, (so might not scale great for your mega forum site!) and whatever umbraco membership authentication you've already got to secure it.

Simpily forums isn't dialogue, and if you want the all singing all dancing forums package you should go there.

email Notifications, (using the events so you can see how to extend)

Simple forums doesn't have spam control, flood control or much of that stuff, it's probibly better for internal sites - but it does have events to hook into to add some off that stuff, and all the code is in app_code so you can add extra things and customize it all you want.
