    Firefox and Umbraco? Few issues...

    Hi if I click around the site using Firefox 3.6.12 every now and again a page doesnt load, I see the code and the top of the page it states:

    Object reference not set to an instance of an object

     

    Also, other times, when I click on a link im asked if I want to download "application/octet-stream" package?

    -------------------- ? --------------------

    Its also worth pointing out the in IE, there are no issues at all....

    Any ideas where to begin here?

    i tested the site i think you are referencing @lister ;) i think there may be an issue with your firefox... as i could not duplicate... i will keep investigating and see what if i can discover why that may be happening.

    Very interesting article about firefox doing the same thing with php files... but a lot of users apparently get a similar thing as what is happening to you...

    I tend to lean toward the proxy issue??? Do you use a proxy from your location.
