I've tried installing uForum on a fresh install of Umbraco with Runway several times, both the current stable release and the current beta, but I must be missing something as I consistently run into the same problem -- there is no visible means of creating a topic, even when logged in. There are no runtime errors displayed -- the page or control just seems to be missing.
I tried to create a page for this purpose using the New Topic master, but when I do this, it is not properly associated with the forum.
Are there any common mistakes that can lead to this?

Did you check the "Allow new topics" checkbox on your forum node?
You should get at nice green "+" icon to the right side near the header of your forum.
Is there a specific member group or member type that the user has to be a part of to post?

Which version of uForum are you using?
Sorry, I fixed the issue. Had a strange issue where both 0.7 and 1.0 things were being used. On a clean install it worked great.
