If I'm not mistaken I actually belive you're using uForum right now ;-)
Basially uForum is a fork of this forum so I think you can expect identical behaviour. Must admit I have not yet tried it out myself though. Maybe others can confirm this?
I just came across this twitter status of Lee Messenger http://twitter.com/#!/leemessenger/status/27410163115761665 - Seems like i's worth keeping an eye at this if you're interested in a umbraco based forum. I'm not sure what the development status on uForum is at the moment.
The package is currently a very limited version of this forum. It was forked 2 years ago, to provide a simple forum that people could use.
Development is currently stalled, because there are intentions of letting the code from this site become available as a package, so it would be a bit of a waste to develop new features on the current package.
I do however not know when the source for this forum will be available, since nothing has happened since CG10.

Can somebody provide a link to a site using uForum? I'd like to get a hands on impression of how it works..
