I had a homebuild forum on my old Umbraco 3.0.x installation and after upgrading to 4.0.x it would no longer work (since it used a MassMailer). So I tried to install the uForum package. There are 2 forum packages but I guess they are the same. When I install uForum 0.0.7 I get this error:
Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'newtopic' Key being added: 'newtopic'
I have tried to uninstall and install again, but I can get around this. Can any of you tell me how to get the package installed?
Sounds like it is trying to add a template or macro that already exists. Have you tried manually deleting the templates/macros that the package installs?
It turned out that I had a Template named Create Topic. After a couple of install/unstall's it had become 3 templates all named Create Topic.
After deleting them and a macro named Forum (which could be harmful. I dont know) I succelfully came to the next step. Database installation, which also went well. Now I will start experimenting with the package.

I occasionally see this, but usually a page refresh or Application Pool refresh fixes it. Have you tried both?

Thx Morten
