I made a stupid mistake and installed the package on Umbraco 4.0.4.1 and thus, crashed my entire site due to the .NET version mismatch. Every page, and the admin console all now say "Internal Server Error"
Any suggestions as to how I can remove it manually?
Do you have a list of everything changed by the package so I can manually back it out?
Best way to find out what files were added would be to unzip the package and look at the files within, if you remove these you *should* hopefully get away with it. You did backup beforehand didnt you?
I suggest that you have a look in the web.config and see if some lines have been duplicated, which can cause this error. I've once seen this with ImageGen when I intended to do an upgrade from a previous version. The installation went fine but the key that was added to the web.config file was in their 2 times, since the upgrade did not just overwrite the existing key.
I installed the most recent package. Is there a version of uKnowledgeBase available for 4.0.4.1 and .NET 3.5? I think the .NET 4.0 is what actually killed it.
I deleted all the items manually, and I'm back in business.

Hi Brad
What package did you install?

Hope this helps.

Hi
Glad it's sorted - I never compiled it for 3.5 but the source is available so you could download and recompile then try?
Si
I may give that a shot when I have some time.
Thanks.
