    Search not working in uKnowledgeBase

I installed from the package on 6.1.3 with SQL and everything seems to be working except the search. This was not a clean Umbraco install (there were already a handful of doctypes, templates, etc... for a basic website without bells & whistles. The uKnowledgebase root node in the content tree is therefore not the root node of the site (don't know if this is important). But, like I said, things seem to be working, except the search.

When I use the search feature at the top, or any of the filters in the left hand menu, I get an empty search result.

Perhaps related, adding 'tags' under the searching tab of an article does not give me any feedback when I add a tag, nor does there seem to be a list of tags for that article visible anywhere (are there supposed to be?)

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

    Cheers, Josh

Thanks Simon, I had already stared at that thread for long hours trying to figure out if it described the problem I was having. From what I gather, it was a different issue in that thread (although related). Unlike in that post, I cannot search for anything, no matter the search term or the number of search terms, nor can I use the 'filter by' buttons on the left hand menu. Everything comes up as no search results found.

Do you think the issue might be related to the Knowledgebase Home not being the root node of the site? I changed all the node ID's in the code as per the post install instructions (thank you), and everything except searching (and perhaps the 'tags') seems to be working great.

I really hope that you or someone else in the community has a suggestion because this package is exactly what I need. Now if only I could find a good 'document management' package for Umbraco (I know, I know, there are already good solutions out there so why should someone force Umbraco to do something that others are already doing better), all my wishes would come true!

Thanks again Simon for the great package!
