Is there an option I can set to make sure the automatically created folders stay sorted in some manner?
E.g.: With the AlphaFolder folder provider, making sure that each new letter folder remains in alphabetic order in the content tree of the Umbraco UI?
Currently, they're still displayed in the order they were created. (I'm able to order it on the external website's xslt macro, but am wanting to do it for the content tree too)

You should be able to manually sort the folders once they've been created?
There's no functionality in AutoFolders to sort the folders.
