have installed, set compilation to debug in web.config I can now see /umbraco/plugins/theoutfield/backfire4umbraco/bf4u.js is being included... but getting a javascript error nameValue[1] is undefined.
Yep, I'm logged in and have access to the settings section
I seem to have tracked down what made it stop working. If i got rid of my reset.css and my font replacement scripts it started working. Kinda defeats the purpose of using it if I have to tiptoe around what code I use. not your problem though, maybe I'll wait for a better version of backfire.js
At a guess, I'd probably look for any hacks in your css, and just try and seperate them. I'm not sure how good Backfire is at parsing CSS, but I'd say as basic as possible would work best.
Where you using @import directives to import your reset stylesheets - looks like backfire doesn't like them, so you need to use standard HTML link tags if you want to use Backfire4Umbraco.

Hey,
Steps to use are
1) Enable debug
2) Ensure you are logged in and have access to the settings sections
3) Ensure you are using firefox
Give those a try and let me know if you still have the issue

Best,
