I installed this package and it was if nothing was installed. I was looking around for some new TreeView items or Tabs to access the new features and there was nothing.
The packaged installed with no errors.
I also tested a manual install and this was the same.
I also tested clearing the cache and logging in again.
Looks like this package (have never used it) adds a new Section in Umbraco.
New sections do not automatically appear in the backoffice, you have to enable them per user.
Just go to the User section (from the sidebar) and find your user. On the details page at the bottom you can find a checkbox list for the sections.
There you should find your new section "CM Umbraco Tools" or something like this. Just enable it, save and reload the backoffice.
You are a legend. Thanks. Such a simple solution and I overlooked it. Thanks for pointing this out.
Its a shame the packages don't do this automatically. I would have never noticed this unless poking around in the user settings some time down the line.
I am sorry for the delay but I have been on holidays and I did not have access to the internet in order to see your post and reply to you.
The reason that the icon does not appear automatically is that the administrator of the web site must decide which users will have access to this tool.
This package is very dangerous if an unauthorized user get access to the package tools. For example an unauthorized user could restart the application, view the site log or even add permanent redirects.
I am sorry if this caused you problem to find the icon but I think it is better to have problems like this instead of an unauthorized user have access to very sensitive information of the site.
