I have an odd issue with importing of content, where some (but not all) of the nodes are being imported twice.
I have a table of news articles that are being imported from a database on a different server to the Umbraco db, where I am maping them to fields on my page and publishing them with autofolders.
I input all the details and save the import runs, and says that it has imprted 37 records (the correct number of records in the source table). However, when I go to the section on the site, some of the items (it seems to vary randomly how many) have been imported twice into Umbraco.......
I've just tried the same with an umbraco installation that's on the same db server as the source database, and that seems to work as expected. I'm going to do some more tests on this tonight and tomorrow, will let you know if I find anything useful as to the cause.
It looks like this issue could be somehow related to Autofolders (even if you don't autopublish the content, somehow). If I comment out my autofolder settings for the section and run the import, I don't get duplicate content. I can then re-enable the config after import and publish to categorise correctly.......
